توفي العميد البحري قيس عبد الرحمن عارف إثر إصابته بمرض الكورونا في يوم الخميس المصادف الرابع من شباط عام 2021 في العاصمة الأردنية عمان.ا
كنا قد زرناه في بيته بعَمّان عام 2006 لتصوير حوار معه ومع والده الرئيس الراحل عبد الرحمن عارف وكان هو وعائلته في غاية من الخلق والكرم والتواضع

The death of Commodore Qais Aref
the Son of The Late President Abdul Rahman Aref
Commodore Qais Abdul Rahman Aref died from coronavirus on Thursday, the fourth of February 2021, in the Jordanian capital, Amman.
In 2006, we visited him at his home in Amman to videotape an interview with him and his father, the late President Abdel-Rahman Aref. They were generous and humble.
The news of his death was published in many media sources, but unfortunately most of them did not publish his detailed biography and military achievements. Also, sadly, we did not find any mention of his departure and his accomplishments on English language sites. The most detailed article about the late Qais Abd al-Rahman Aref appeared in “Azzaman” site, written by Safwat Kamel.
